Prof. Dr. Yeşim BAYOĞLU TEKİN

After completing my high school education in Trabzon, I graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2000, a school I am always proud to have attended. I then began working as a resident doctor in the Department of Pathology at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine.

I completed my specialization in obstetrics and gynecology at Ankara Etlik Zübeyde Hanım Women's Health Training and Research Hospital, earning the title of specialist doctor in 2008. Witnessing the miracle of birth, being by a mother’s side as she brings life to her child, and touching a newborn at their very first breath are among the most sacred and proudest moments of being a physician.

In 2011, I started my academic career as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University Faculty of Medicine and was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2015. Throughout my career, I have contributed to the training of many medical doctors and supported the professional development of specialist doctors and academicians. Seeing the physicians I have mentored continue their careers as specialists and academics has been a great source of pride for me.

In 2018, I established the training clinic at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Trabzon Kanuni Training and Research Hospital under the University of Health Sciences, where I continued to serve. As a result of my academic work and professional experience, I was awarded the title of Professor in 2021. Until 2024, I worked as the training supervisor in the same clinic.

To dedicate more time to my patients and provide higher-quality healthcare services, I decided to pursue an independent practice in 2024 and opened my own private clinic. I continue my academic and clinical work in women’s health, striving to provide the best possible care for my patients.
