Memorial Health Group is expanding its service network with 11 hospitals, 2 medical centers and 1 wellness center. The foundations of Memorial Şişli, the first hospital of Memorial Health Group, which will be a reference center not only in Turkey but also in the world, were laid in 1996. Created with the support of ECRI, the most prestigious consultancy firm in the hospital sector in the United States, the project rose in Şişli on the European side of Istanbul. Memorial Şişli, whose name would become synonymous with trust and leadership, also became Turkey's future in healthcare. The hospital building, equipped with the most advanced technology of the period, which an international health institution should have, was completed in about 3 years and the first patient admission started in February 2000.

Two years after its establishment, Memorial Şişli Hospital became the first hospital in Turkey and the 21st hospital in the world to receive the JCI (Joint Commission International) Accreditation Certificate, which determines the quality and trust standards in health with many criteria, and became the first hospital in Turkey and the 21st hospital in the world to receive this certificate, which is the registration of quality health service at world standards.
